DETRAS DE LA CORTINA DE HIERRO EUROPA DEL ESTE/ BEHIND THE IRON CURTAIN EAST EUROPE.

ASI SE TEMPLO EL ACERO

Plaza de los Heroes

Antes de que nos olviden…. Haremos historia.

HOW THE STEEL WAS TEMPERED.

Before they forget us…we´ll make history.

East europe and his nostalgic atmosphere, when i arrived to Czech Republic in to the city of Pilsen all the concept that i had about Europe change, very tiny streets with imponent flats were filling every Street, the apartments build one century ago were in a decadent state, the Paint was so old and they look so gray it seemed that no one had ever Paint them since they build them. I wanted to ask someone if they knew how to get to the city center, but everyone were walking with a empty looking and death bodies walking on the city, people no longer say hello to me like in other countries, the darkest scene was a woman of perhaps 50 years old walking on the Street with a dog with sarne and her eyes wear empty with charred remains of a cruel past, i tried to ask her something but couldnt do it since she did not speak English or German nor spanish, she continued walking on painfull streets without saying Goodbye, there were gipsys in every corner drinking and looking, who to stole, the city was as decadent as the atmosphere of gray colours and that atmosphere contrast with the exposure of pictures of World War II when the city was liberated from the Nazis by the American Army, they even had a monument to the ´´great soldiers who free Czech Republic´´ the beautiful thing from the city was the synagoge the one that you need to enter with a hat for respect to the religión simbol that means the church. I always try to see the good things that are in every country to show that the world is not scary and big, that everyone is the same as you and me, everyone has fears and all of us have good and evil, we live in heaven and we live in hell is just a choise of everyone of us to choose which side are you going, it was a Little sad for me being in this countries who had been invaded and ultrajed by powerful countries like the U.R.S.S. or U.S.A.  its not people fault to be that way and to be taciturn in one or another way, only them know the pain that they carry on their backs of the cruel past, of the humilliation and the poverty.

Pilsen the ashes town.

BEHIND THE IRON CURTAIN
The term iron curtain was given after WWII. When Europe divides in two sides one was the capitalist side with the countries suporting America and the other one was the Soviet side with the U.R.S.S. some countries that were part of the u.r.s.s. were invaded by this, when i was in Hungary i saw the anti comunist propaganda on the streets, unfortunately they were invaded for 30 years by the Soviet Union and forced the people to work on the work camps on Siberia and many more died on the Gulag Prison for being politically diferent, Hungary has not forgotten this acts and you can see on some walls the names of the Russian PERPETRATORS that make anti human acts to the people in Hungary 300,000 people disappeared during 30 years and they are still working on fixing the country.
Budapest is a beautiful city and the Danube river pass through, but it also has a dark transfond, i arrived to the city at midnight and i hadn´t a place to sleep i walked and walked, and it was full of people partying and drinking so it was like day time, i sit on a park near a train station without noticing that all the people surrounding me were refugees from Middle-East countries who came to Europe to save their families of the war, at first i thought that they were trying to steal something from me ( i had nothing that values) but then i saw something that still is the best thing that happen to me during my trips. One man of 45 years old with his face full of scars and drunk he get up and went to a thrash can to search for something to eat, i did not pay attention what he did after that, but he touch my shoulder and offer me a Sandwich which i refuse with a big smile and told him that i already have one, he smile back and went to two old persons that were on my back, mi perspective change completely and i felt how this people were like a brotherhood, i walked through the Danube in the morning and saw a very sad scene or monument which is the monument to the Shoes, at the edge of the river there are some old shoes in couples so every couple has 4 shoes, the story is that During WWII the nazis obligated the hungarn people to walk through the danube once in the river they tied them together and in one foot they put one heavy chain and throw them to the river by couples, this shoes are still waiting for their owners to come and pick them. The migratory situation in Europe is changin a lot and some people that i talked to agreed that the world is going to collapse in the next 2 decades, only the last week 3000 thousand inmigrant people arrive at Budapest 500 were kids, all of them living on the train stations, in Europe there are no border inside of the schengen space, but now polithicians want to control more the situation between the borders of the schengen zone, just now in the border between Hungary and Serbia a Wall is being finished is going to be 4 meters high and full of spikes on the 200 km of the border, to me after going out of Hungary and the Schengen zone they held me for 2 hours asking questions and since my Passport hadnt a stamp of the schengen just the stamp of England, they were trying to charge me a fee, but it wasnt my fault in the border in France they never stamp my Passport, so at the end they let me go. In this times how they control the borders are changing, now they are building walls again generalizing that every inmigrant is a criminal, for me as an inmigrant too, they are just looking for a better life and future for their families thats why they are escaping, they are not coming here to make bad things, the other face of the coin is the people from Hungary helping the refugees and bringing them wáter, food, and medicine also dressing as clowns and entertaining the kids, like they had suffer they know that this people is here for the same reasons, as you can see not everything is pink color, but it always going to be good and kind people in the world to keep it alive who are willing to give you a piece of bread and they don´t care if they don´t eat while youre not hungry is good for them, walking and hitchhiking for not touristic zones in Europe give you more lessons that a guide tour by the Sena in Paris or getting in the Eye of London.
